In 1999, The Sporting Lucas Terrier Club Committee thought up, and subsequently adopted the name, Sporting Lucas Terrier.  The name did not exist prior to this as the dogs had previously come under the umbrella of the Lucas Terrier. We registered the Sporting Lucas Terrier© as a breed with the UKC of America, and in addition to that, ONLY terriers registered and approved by OUR club can be registered.  All other terriers purporting to be a Sporting Lucas Terrier, can only be classed as a TYPE, not a breed.

Newsletter, Annual Show, Information Days, Re-homing of Dogs, Help and Advice eg,  obtaining a puppy, early training/socialization, grooming, breeding/whelping, finding suitable studs, finding homes for pups, health issues, diet, worming, problems with training
